Shift
CLOTHING FOR A CAUSE

Make the Shift to a new style and
Feel Good
Made from sustainable, organic, natural dye, free-trade fabrics.
Lesley B Fay has partnered with Khadi Oaxaca to create a line of shift style dresses and jackets that are not only comfortable and beautiful in their simplicity, but help you shift from mass produced garments that harm our environment.
Sale of these garments benefit a cause…
…Your cause, the one you or your organization chooses. Whether you want to support the birds, the bees or dogs & cats we will donate part of the proceeds to an organization whose mission is to help, rescue and protect these vital members of our world.
Update 2020: Production of the Shift Garment line is currently delayed. Please stay in touch for more information which will be available on this website or through our social media accounts.

The perfect outfit for Your Lifestyle
A True Classic
Available in a variety of styles and subdued natural colors, SHIFT dresses and jackets will be a timeless staple in your wardrobe. The garments come in Small, Medium, and Large and offer a generous fit.
Join us in making a SHIFT!
This line has been created to benefit the community – a portion of all SHIFT profits are automatically donated to organizations that promote & preserve the welfare of dogs, cats, birds & bees.
Each month Lesley B Fay will donate 10% of the proceeds from that month’s sales to a charity of her choice. If you would like your foundation to be the recipient of a particular month’s donation, please get in touch with us. There is a simple form to fill out and then we will get you on the calendar!
If you would like to host your own fundraising effort by having a sale of your own (you do all the organizing and promotion, we provide the garments) then your foundation would receive 25% of the profits. Get in touch or come in and let’s chat about your cause.

Our Furry & Winged Friends

Save the Bees
Bees are the perfect pollinator. It is critical that we recognise the importance of bees to nature and to human lives. We need to actively work to ensure they don’t just survive but thrive. Click below for other easy ways to help in your own back yard.

Adopt a Dog
Man’s best friend should not be neglected on the streets. San Miguel has it’s fair share of abandoned dogs and you can help. There are several organizations in town that work to save these lovely companions.

Rescue a Cat
Just as lovable as their canine counterparts, the SPA San Miguel also has about 50 cats up for adoption at any given time. As the only no-kill shelter in SMA they need your help.

Listen to Birds
Birds strongly influence the biological function of the ecosystems upon which we all depend yet more than one-third of our birds are in trouble due to habitat loss, pesticide use, and other troubling human impacts.
Partner with Us
Retialers, if you are interested in carrying our line of garments, or purchasing wholesale please get in touch via email or phone us at 415.119.1889. We look forward to partnering with you.

About
In 2010 Marcos Brown and his wife, Kalindi founded Khadi based on principles espoused by Ghandi. They have built a successful business that employs over 200 spinners, thus maintaining tradition and creating a self reliant community, earning a sustainable wage. Twice a month villagers deliver spun thread and receive their pay. Local carpenters create the time-honored spinning wheel used throughout India and brought to Mexico by Marcos.
